You often hear about the rough and tumble of politics but it is not often you get a photograph that demonstrates the lengths that 4 hard working MLAs will go to settle their political differences. This photograph was taken at the Freshers Fair in UU Jordanstown. There are four MLAs pictured can you name them?

Brownlee Primary School visited Stormont as a guest of Basil McCrea MLA. Whilst there all 27 pupils enjoyed a trip in a helicopter giving them great views of Stormont and the surrounding country side. After the helicopter and lunch the pupils enjoyed a quick tour of Stormont, where they voted on the question of whether girls are better than boys. The result has been kept a secret.

Dromore family visits Stormont
Families from all over Lagan Valley visited Stormont for the family funday.
This family from Dromore promised to send me an email so that I can send them this picture!
Unfortunately the weather deteriorated in the afternoon but that didn’t seem to stop the fun. Next year we intend to do it bigger and even better.

Basil McCrea MLA and a team of five party activists were canvassing in Dunmurry. The response was very positive with many citizens saying that they had seen very few politicians on the doorstep.

The talent tribe performed at Stormont. They danced to music from Mama Mia The four performance aged between 14 and 17 managed to stop crowd in its tracks.

Basil McCrea met with Friends for Ever, an American organisation that takes teenagers from Northern Ireland to New Hampshire, USA.
They are looking for volunteers and team leaders.

Teachers from across Europe visit Stormont
A delegation of teachers from across Europe paid a visit to Stormont. Teachers from Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Holland and the UK brought their experience to Northern Ireland.
Given the debate in Stormont about Education this was a useful chance to exchange views.
